My Bio
Hey there!
Glad that you visit my site! ;)

I might just be a hobby artist, but I have been drawing since primary school and since then it has been a part of my life. It's like a passion. Despite some time off and doing other stuff, I always come back to drawing/painting.

Like my artist name may convey: I'm more the contemplative type of guy and thus very thoughtful.
I also write poems sometimes and there's NO day I do not listen to music. :D
Whenever it's possible there's music around me and sometimes it's me making music.(drums/bass guitar)

Primarily inspired by:
Stoner Rock LP/CD's covers; Art Nouveau (ex: Mucha); Surreal watercolor paintings; Tattoo Models; Zombies/Ghouls and other kinds of creepy, horrifying creatures from movies or artworks

Favourite Music: Metal/Stoner Rock/Alternative/Post-Rock/Classic & Piano-music/

Favourite Visual Artist
H.R. Giger, Peter Gric, Ewan McLaughlin, Carne Griffiths, Marco Mazzoni, Miles Johnston, Eric Lacombe
Favourite Bands / Musical Artists
Queens of the Stone Age, Truckfighters, Kyuss, TOOL // Bonobo. Ludovico Einaudi, Yann Tiersen, ...
Favourite Books
Vincent (Joey Goebel) // sämtliches von Sebastian Fitzek

Out of the Dark

(Some thoughts I had after my latest photo-session) Sometimes you desperately try to hold on daydreams/illusions which would never come true, anymore. Your heart aches because it's not ready to accept this new reality. You start to blame the other one, as well as yourself. You fall into darkness with all your jealousy, frustration and sadness; Old mindsets that make you feel bad, in the end. But in between of all that, there are moments of acceptance and then, an unexpected light starts to shine. In these moments, you're able to see everything more clearly; you start to distance yourself from the other one. You re-discover yourself and see

Nice gallery! I like your pencil drawings a lot, I've been trying to draw something similar lately and now I found my inspiration. Keep going!

Thanks a lot, man! ;) Glad that you like them ^^

There's sure more of them to come ;)

Btw, what pencils (and their hardnesses) are you using?

My favourite hardness is 2B and overall I use an HB, a 2B and an 6B or 8B pencil.

Concering the brand, I've found my favourite brand about 4 years ago, in Japan; The brand is "Tombow".

They're relatively expensive, but the range of their pencil's hardness is incredibly versatile :O (Faber-Castell's look weak in comparison :D)
